Who we are
Dr. Lee is a licensed clinical psychologist in the Kansas City, Metro area. She obtained a PhD from University of Missouri — Kansas City in Counseling Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Department of Veteran's affairs where she worked in a variety of settings and treated Veterans with PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and insomnia. She also completed training in psychological and neuropsychological assessment.
After completion of her PhD, she completed additional training as a post-doctoral psychology fellowship at the Kansas City Veteran’s Medical Center, specializing in the treatment of Serious Mental Illness. During this additional training year she worked with Veteran’s diagnosed with serious mental illness, helping them integrate back into the community. During this time she received additional training in psychological assessment
Currently she continues her work with Veterans with SMI at the VA where she conducts individual and group therapy as well as psychological assessment and helps train psychology pre-doctoral interns and post-doctoral fellows. She also holds an assistant clinical faculty appointment at KU Medical Center department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences where she helps train psychiatry residents rotating through the VA.
