My goal for therapy is for you ”fire me” or no longer need our services. With this in mind, the majority of clients benefit from weekly sessions for a period of time, typically at the beginning of treatment. CBT treatments can range anywhere from 6 to 20 sessions. This number varies based on factors including type of treatment (ex. Prolonged Exposure for PTSD versus Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia), symptom severity, life stressors/events, and individual effort.
Sessions typically last 45-50 minutes. However, extended sessions (ex. 90 minutes) may be recommended depending on the type of treatment and client need.
After completing the active phase of treatment, some clients find periodic booster sessions or check-ins helpful for maintaining progress made in treatment.

Cancellation of initial evaluation appointment with less than 48 hours notice will result in a charge of 50% of the initial evaluation fee ($150).
For all appointments following the initial evaluation, 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a charge of the full session fee ($200).
Keep in mind that insurance does not cover cancellation fees, so any cancellation fees will be the responsibility of the client.
